Voiceprint with Trevor Devall & Guests: Eps 20 - Secret Toy Surprise
Sorry about the delay folks. I hope you find that the long wait for this episode is worth it…as you’ll see, this one is kind of a multimedia exercise. But don’t let me spoil it for you: listen yourself to see what I mean…
In the meantime, congratulations to our contest winner (again, no spoilers here! It’s all in the file, baby)! And to the winner go the spoils: send me an email to fans@trevordevall.com with your mailing address and I’ll get those autographed CD’s to you just as soon as I can round up all the actors to sign them (a task not unlike herding cats, alas…).
As announced in the episode, our next guest is director James Corrigall, of Gundam fame. Send in your questions for him to voiceprint@trevordevall.com. I promise that this episode won’t take 2 months to get posted!

Commentaries are almost my favorite aspect of watching shows; this was a fun episode, and even though I’m not familiar with the Gundam universe and didn’t have a clue what was going on, I didn’t care! Such a clever fellow you are, to shake things up a bit like that.
Looking forward to the next 20 episodes!

I agree with Nancy, in the US the Gundam Seed wasn’t as popular as Gundam Wing, but after listening to the commentary i’m an definately going to check this anime out. Keep up the great work Sweeties!
LOVE YOUR LOBSTERS

Wait a minute; you *didn’t* know there was an Alpha-Q toy from “Transformers: Energon”? Eh, can’t say I blame you, since the toy had been discontinued for about 4 years now… but glad you lucked out and you have him now!

I found both episodes on YouTube. It was interesting, if a little geeky, to hear the commentaries during the episodes. This was well worth the wait. Thank you Trevor!

This episode was so much fun to listen to- such a great spin w/ episode commentaries! Love it! Love it! Love it! I’m trying to get through somehow to AE if there’s a chance you could do your podcast there— If not, then we hope to have you as a guest either way

A very interesting choice for commentaries. I remember episode 30 of GSD, that was a really intense point in the series. Audio Commentaries are always so much fun, especially the ones where you can throw great jokes in them.
There are some that are not very good out there. I find that the ones on the Eureka Seven dvd’s were not very good. I mean goofiness is great and all, but when your not talking about the episode in question or the show in question, and just talking about random stuff that has nothing to do with the show, it’s just a waste of time. I tried watching the first, but just got really tired of it. You on the other hand Trev are a comic genius and you always do the characters you play great justice. So any audio commentary that the guys and gals in Van are gonna do, you can bet I will listen in.

I don’t think my other post went through, but I made my own running commentary of the commentary, which I also posted to the Voice Print LJ Community.
